Background

Total is one of the world's largest international oil and gas companies, covering the entire energy chain, from oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as Chemicals. TOTAL UK is the UK refining and marketing operation for the Total Group with a wide network of TOTAL branded service stations.

Bartuf has worked with Total for ten years providing retail display solutions across news, magazines and grocery categories.

Brief

  • To increase the forecourt advertising space and revenue at TOTAL branded service stations
  • To design, deliver and install a POS header to all existing TOTAL outside news units at direct managed stores, within a five week time frame.

Solution

This large volume installation project was required within a very tight time frame so planning and management was key. A number of trial store installations were carried out prior to the main rollout to ensure that fitting teams were fully briefed and understood customer specific objectives and procedures.

Once a schedule was agreed a four man team installed at least 22 sites a day, leading to a very happy customer.

Outcome

Bartuf Solutions managed the entire project. The new POS headers were retro-fitted across TOTAL’s entire estate of 225 direct managed sites over a ten day period, resulting in the project being completed within the tight schedule and on budget.
