Bartuf Systems, the UK’s leading manufacturer of retail display solutions has launched the innovative Newscube, a unique, multi-volume newspaper and magazine display system.

Created by the company’s in house design team, the new upright unit has been manufactured by Bartuf to help retailers display multiple volumes of newspapers, increase customer accessibility and provide branding opportunities.

The Newscube incorporates unique design features to enable up to 16 different titles to be displayed at once and also has a 16 facing magazine eye line unit.  Easily adjustable dual angle shelving allows the unit to accommodate different levels of publications - shelves can be laid flat for the high volume of weekend newspapers or angled to carry a low volume of week day titles. In fact, the unit’s full flat option carries is able to carry 50% more newspapers than Bartuf’s current angled cube.

Retailers can also add graphic panels, magnetically attached to the newscube to increase advertising and promotional opportunities for themselves or suppliers. The top of the news cube can also be used to display other items whether a range of confectionary or additional graphic headers.

The versatile new unit has already been commissioned by WHSmith to increase impulse magazine sales in almost 75% of its UK branches.

The mobile unit has also been designed with durable castors for high manoeuvrability and can be easily repositioned when either empty or full.  Its materials are also designed withstand the rigours of the retail environment.

Steve Davenport commented: “This innovative product is testament to the creative and talented team here at Bartuf which has designed this product to provide retailers with a specific product to meet their needs in the competitive retail environment. It helps to maximise retail space while minimising footprint and ultimately helping to increase sales.”
